The Men's shelter

The men’s shelter in downtown Tijuana is where we provide housing and hope to many who desperately need it. We’re in the Zone Norte, two blocks from the border fence. This area is unique because it’s only blocks from the red light district. Drugs are on almost every corner, and people from all parts of Central and South America are desperately trying to get across, seeking a better life in the United States.

Many people in this area are battling poverty due to theft, deportation, or addictions. We now are housing over 200 men every night. Seeing the church building used seven days a week and 24 hours a day is excellent. Ministries like the shelter are what the church of Christ is about to preach, teach, reach, and transform.
